Reflection:
When we were given this assignment, I had probably only been out once a week if that. The introverted side of me was overjoyed by this, and didn’t want to go out specifically for this assignment. But I went to a new place and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the restaurant and the food. Then going home with a few pictures, I set to work on designing this review. It made me feel like a reporter of sorts when I asked my parents about their meals as well because I only had so much to say about my own meal. Overall, I’m proud of this piece and think it turned out great.

KACYY!! As soon as I saw your restaurant review I fell in love with the aesthetics of it! I love how your restaurant picture really blends in well with the overall theme of your review. As I am reading, I can really picture the restaurant interior with your descriptive imagery. You included information that would really help someone who has never gone to the restaurant. Instead of just adding in the good side of the restaurant, I like how you also added what the restaurant lacked. After reading your review, I now know not to order the salmon roe rice bowl since it had too much rice compared to the salmon. One thing you could improve on is maybe the overall structure of the review. I couldn’t really follow along that easily since the writing was in different chunks on the page. It would also be better if you added better subtitles, explaining what the paragraph talks about. Other than that, I really want to visit this restaurant to experience the atmosphere!

Yooo Kacy! First, the poster looks dope. You certainly know what you’re doing with your poster design. I also like your description of the atmosphere. It sounds cozy! Then I scrolled down and didn’t know where to look. I agree with Ruby; the flow needs some work. I would have also liked a picture of a menu, though I understand it would be hard to fit it in your template. Still, you described the meals in good detail. You also came up with several constructive criticisms for the restaurant, which was the best part of this in my opinion. Overall, an aesthetically pleasing and descriptive presentation. Good job!
